About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated English, Maths and Science Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition packages to secondary-aged young people who are currently without a school placement.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging lessons that bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Bridge gaps in student knowledge and understanding through effective teaching methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt lessons accordingly.
Contract Details
  1. Location: Within the community or pupils' home.
  2. Position: English, Maths and Science Tutor.
  3. Type of work: Contract.
  4. Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement.
  5. Contract type: Temporary.
  6. Full-time/part-time: Part time (15 hours per week, per student).
  7. Minimum rate of pay: £25+ per hour.
