Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide personalized support to students with SEN, assisting them in overcoming challenges and helping them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 or with small groups of students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting children's emotional and social development using positive reinforcement.
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Helping students build confidence, independence, and skills that go beyond the classroom.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • A commitment to celebrating the unique strengths and achievements of each child.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A relevant qualification would be advantageous but is not required.

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum (£460 - £500 per week). Benefits: Opportunities for career progression, comprehensive training, and CPD.
