Job Opportunity: Permanents Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanents Consultant to join our successful Accountancy team at Reed Stratford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating income by placing part-qualified and transactional accounting candidates into permanent positions and developing new business through client sales activities across a range of industries in the East London region.

About the Role:

  • Engage in business development through cold calling, attending meetings, presentations, and networking events to win new business and grow existing client portfolios.
  • Market candidates proactively to potential clients and deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
  • Source and attract candidates through advertising, job boards, social media, and referrals, and register and interview candidates to assess their skills and career goals.
  • Match candidates to permanent opportunities and ensure existing assignments are filled, maintaining accurate recruitment process records and complying with quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven consultative recruitment sales experience with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining strong client and candidate relationships.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to analyse information to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and control negotiations with clients and candidates.
  • Resilient and tenacious, with a desire to succeed and exceed targets.
