About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Geriatrician Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to older patients, working closely with colleagues in primary, secondary, and intermediate care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical opinion across a wide range of problems within General Internal Medicine and Geriatric medicine
  • Develop and implement proactive community services for older people living with frailty
  • Contribute to admission prevention, virtual wards, and end-of-life care initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve patient outcomes and quality of care

Requirements

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with licence to practice
  • Entry on Specialist Register in Geriatric medicine
  • Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Geriatric medicine or within 12 months of award of CCT by date of interview
