Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Theatre Studies Teacher to teach Drama to Key Stage 3 and 4 students at a high school in East Lancashire. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Teach Drama to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, following the school's curriculum and assessment guidelines.
  2. Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to support students with different learning styles and abilities, including those with SEND.
  4. Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support as necessary.
  5. Participate in extra-curricular activities, such as after-school clubs and school events, as required.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  4. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
