Bookkeeper Opportunity in Yorkshire

An exciting chance for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a thriving accountancy practice in Yorkshire. With offices in Huddersfield and Bradford, this role offers a great work-life balance and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare and process financial statements, VAT returns, and other accounting tasks
  • Reconcile accounts, ensure ledgers balance, and meet deadlines
  • Liaise with HMRC and clients to resolve queries and issues
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced finance role, preferably in an accountancy practice
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Sage, Xero, or Quickbooks
