Tax Manager Job in Cardiff

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team in Cardiff. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, providing advice and overseeing compliance. You will also engage in transfer pricing, thin capitalisation, and international tax planning projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, providing advice and overseeing compliance
* Engage in transfer pricing, thin capitalisation, and international tax planning projects
* Offer technical tax support across teams, including M&A
* Assist in managing and developing tax team personnel
* Build and maintain strong client relationships while offering strategic tax planning
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring clients are well informed
* Contributing to business development and growth initiatives within the firm

**Candidate Requirements**

* CTA or ACA qualified with significant corporate tax experience
* Strong technical knowledge in international tax planning
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Experience with M&A and providing technical tax support
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software packages
* Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff members is preferred
