About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality tuition to learners who require dedicated support to achieve their academic goals.

As a Maths Tutor, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering tuition, and monitoring learner progress. You will also work closely with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.

In line with government statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe In Education' (KCSIE), all candidates must pass our strict processes to ensure their suitability to work with children and young people before being considered for work with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create lesson plans and deliver tuition that is designed to engage, inspire, and teach.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
