Job Summary

We are currently seeking skilled Shuttering Carpenters to join our busy team in the Dudley area. As a Shuttering Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures, including foundations, columns, beams, and slabs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and Assemble Formwork: Build and set up formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate formwork placement and alignment.
  • Material Handling: Select and prepare appropriate materials, including wood and metal, for formwork construction.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect completed formwork to ensure it meets project specifications and standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other trades and construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Shuttering Carpenter in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment. Strong understanding of formwork systems and techniques.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
