Job Summary

WWK Lebensversicherung a. G. is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd level support for troubleshooting and case-closing processing of fault reports, including documentation in the service desk system.
  • Ensure the independent and timely installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of hardware, software, or telecommunications systems.
  • Support employees in all matters related to workplace hardware.
  • Carry out hardware relocations (PC, monitor, telephone, etc.).
  • Be involved in the inventory of IT end devices, including CMDB maintenance.
  • Participate in the selection of technical equipment for workplace hardware and in projects.
  • Act as the training officer in the group.
  • Cooperate with specialist departments and external partners.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed IT training, e.g., IT specialist for system integration, or comparable qualification in the field of IT.
  • Career changers with a high affinity for IT and professional experience in 1st and 2nd level support.
  • Software and hardware knowledge in the Microsoft environment.
  • CompTIA A+ certification (or comparable) desired.
  • AdA certificate desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, responsible, able to work under pressure, team player, and proactive with a keen sense of customer needs.
  • Friendly and confident demeanor.
  • German to at least C1 level.
  • ITIL knowledge/certification is an advantage.
