Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.

Key Duties

  • Perform routine and non-routine quality control analysis and interpretation.
  • Ensure accurate analytical data is presented in the correct format and in a timely fashion to all relevant parties.
  • Carry out safety critical tasks and analysis as per procedure dictates.
  • Liaise and communicate results effectively and efficiently to other departments.
  • Perform calibrations and QC checks of lab equipment.

Requirements

  • Education to degree level or equivalent in Chemistry or a related science.
  • Good understanding of analytical chemistry, including GC, GCMS, IC, XRF, and titrations.
  • Knowledge of distillation.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.

Working Hours

The laboratory operates in 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times.
