The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Circular Economy Specialist to join our Technology and Innovation team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will lead, develop, and deliver research and consultancy services across the low-carbon energy and circular economy sectors in line with our service group strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver research, innovation, and consulting projects across the low-carbon energy and circular economy sectors, through data mining, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support the technical and commercial development of our IP portfolio, through data acquisition and interpretation, technology benchmarking, and competitor analysis, LCA assessment, and research into relevant policy and regulation in UK and overseas markets.
  • Support the preparation of proposals for both grant-funded and commercial projects.
  • Assist in the development of strategic relationships with partners, including academic institutions and public and private sector organizations, with a focus on low-carbon energy and the circular economy.
  • Project management of research, innovation, and consulting projects.
  • Line management of junior members for the Technology & Innovation team, focusing on both their short-term development goals and their longer-term future career development.
