Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to assist with various tasks in our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, safely loading and unloading vans and lorries, operating Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) and Forklift Trucks (FLT) with a Counterbalance license, and conducting regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload vans and lorries, ensuring all items are handled with care.
  • Operate PPT and FLT Counterbalance: Efficiently operate Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) and Forklift Trucks (FLT) with a Counterbalance license.
  • Stock Taking: Conduct regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
