About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Environmental Systems Technician to join our team in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a water service to the contract in compliance with the contract deliverables and KPIs.

You will be multi-skilled, with the ability to maintain and upkeep environmental water systems and equipment in compliance with procedure, method statements or work instructions. This includes surveying and assessment of all building water services to ensure compliance with HSC L8 ACOP and HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 & 3 guidance and Water Fittings Regulations.

The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have practical engineering knowledge in the field of expertise including water softeners, water treatment plants, and plumbed systems, please apply with your most up-to-date CV.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the delivery of a water service to the contract in compliance with the contract deliverables and KPIs.
  2. Maintain and upkeep environmental water systems and equipment in compliance with procedure, method statements or work instructions.
  3. Survey and assess all building water services to ensure compliance with HSC L8 ACOP and HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 & 3 guidance and Water Fittings Regulations.
  4. Fault find and assess water treatment equipment including softeners, dosing pumps, etc.
  5. Carry out water duties in accordance with current standards including but not limited to legionella response, floods, and drainage issues.
