About the Role

We are recruiting a skilled Locum Consultant for Acute Care to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced doctor to make a real difference in the lives of patients with complex respiratory conditions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

Job Description
  • Support patients and their families, explaining diagnoses and treatment options using various methods
  • Coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various types of treatment
  • Monitor and care for patients, communicating with the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Work in and lead a multidisciplinary team, assessing and prioritizing patient/client requirements
Requirements
  • GMC registration as a Doctor (no need to be on the Specialist Register)
  • Relevant experience at Consultant level or references to support transition up to Consultant level
  • Evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK (Medacs cannot offer visa sponsorship)
  • Enhanced DBS check required

Salary: £110-£130 per hour, PAYE. Benefits include free revalidation and appraisal support, GMC connection with Medacs Healthcare, weekly payroll, and more.
