We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our Cardiff Community Resource Team. As a Specialist Speech Therapist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote the independence of adults living in their own homes and within the care sector.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will manage a complex caseload, providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, intervention, management, and discharge to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties associated with a wide range of acquired conditions.
You will work collaboratively with other agencies and disciplines within the health and social care sector to promote the independence of clients living at home and within care settings.
Additionally, you will participate in service development projects, including complex audits, and provide clinical support to more junior Speech and Language Therapy staff.

Requirements- Speech & Language Therapy Degree
- HCPC Registration
- Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (desirable)
- Post-graduate experience of working with a wide range of acquired swallowing and communication difficulties
- Excellent interpersonal skills
We welcome applications from Speech and Language Therapists working at band 5 or 6 level, and we would consider offering a B5-6 developmental post.
