About the Job

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Cover Cleaners on a zero-hour contract basis to support our public realm clients during the busy Summer period.

As a Cover Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors in various areas, including St James Park, Regents Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Park, Richmond Park, and Greenwich Park.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust, damp wipe, or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
  • Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
  • Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
  • Hover carpeted areas.
  • Empty waste bins or similar receptacles and transport waste material to designated collection points.
  • Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
  • Replenish consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels (if contractual).
  • Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
  • Clean communal kitchen areas.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
