Senior Tax Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, including owner-managers, high net worth individuals, and trusts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including owner-managers, high net worth individuals, and trusts.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns, VAT returns, and other annual tax compliance work, including P11Ds, employment-related securities returns, EMI returns, and ATED returns.
  • Provide expert tax planning advice, identifying opportunities for tax efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their key point of contact for all tax-related matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the tax partner and be an integral part of the tax team.
  • Support and mentor junior tax team members, acting as a line manager and providing guidance on their workloads and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a tax management role, ideally within a top 50 accountancy firm or larger independent firm.
  • Strong expertise in either personal tax or a mixed tax background.
  • CTA and ATT qualified preferred but not essential, subject to carrying the relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to provide tax planning advice and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or mentoring role, with a passion for developing junior team members.
