Project Manager: Community and Business Engagement

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated council team as Project Manager: Community and Business Engagement. This role will involve implementing the recommendations from the Town Council's Strategic Plan, focusing on community engagement.

The post holder will work closely with the other Project Manager, Place and Properties, to ensure projects and activities are complementary. This will require engaging and working with public, private, and voluntary stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact for community projects and activities.

The role will also involve primary responsibility for delivering the council's programme of community and civic events. This will include arranging regular networking forums and working with local businesses to generate a stakeholder partnership.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
