Lift Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lift Service Supervisor to join our team at Stirling Warrington. As a key member of our lift maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of lift maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of lift service technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Plan and supervise works, ensuring they are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Supervise and organise the day-to-day activities of your engineering team.
  • Update information and respond to messages using the company computer network.
  • Process service reports, callout reports, client/consultant survey reports, thorough examination reports, and client correspondence.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents.
  • Conduct technical surveys/specific risk assessments/release training.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain spare parts and oversee specialist sub-contractors works.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of lift maintenance, safety protocols, and relevant regulations.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure all safety measures are followed.
  • A current valid driving licence.
  • A DBS check will be required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the lift or escalator industry, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance or equivalent qualification (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of lift systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with an ability to work with diverse teams and clients.
  • A valid UK drivers license (essential).
