Senior Financial Analyst

Overview:

Our client, Antony James Recruitment Ltd, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial reporting and ensuring effective control of the company's finances to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial reports and analysis to provide timely information for business decisions.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and PM Estimating & Construction teams to ensure prompt issuance of payment applications.
• Manage debt collection to support company cash flow.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare daily cash flow reports.
• Handle CIS deductions.
• Oversee sales and purchase ledger management, including raising sales invoices and approving purchase invoices while maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare monthly payroll in coordination with the HR Manager to ensure correct data input.
• Prepare month-end supplier payments for final processing.
• Process VAT returns accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and analysis principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
