Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Care Coordinator to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. As an Emergency Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for transporting elderly, sick, and vulnerable service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Transporting service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Assisting with lifting, securing, and helping service users in and out of the ambulance
  • Building rapport with patients and their relatives/friends through effective communication
  • Ensuring the ambulance is kept safe, clean, and tidy at all times
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A valid full UK driving licence
  • A good degree of physical fitness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Enhanced DBS check (funded by EMED Group)
