About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Custody Paramedic to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in police custody.
  • Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
  • Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police custody, including recording injuries and collecting DNA evidence.
  • Support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation.
  • Administer medications through PGDs and PTPs.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Custody Paramedic who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years' minimum experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
