Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join E1 EDF Trading Ltd as a Indirect Tax Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax advice and support to the business, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse international physical commodity transactions to ensure compliance with indirect tax reporting (VAT, excise duty, and customs duty)
  • Gather and analyse information from a wide range of data sources and systems to accurately prepare a number of VAT/Indirect tax returns, including Europe, Canada, and Japan
  • Follow up with other internal departments to understand exceptions in accounting and reporting processes
  • Obtain supporting documents and prepare them for inclusion in the relevant archive for each tax return
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in indirect tax gained working in-house or within a professional services firm
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, handle pressure and deliver against deadlines
