About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Craft Professional to join our team at AWE Plc. As a Craft Professional, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, troubleshooting and fault rectification, and installing and upgrading electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and fault rectify electrical issues
  • Install and upgrade electrical systems and equipment
  • Test and inspect electrical systems and equipment
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in a relevant discipline or NVQ/Diploma Level 2 plus industrial experience
  • A recognised relevant qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC or BTEC Level 3
  • 18th edition and C&G 2391 preferred but not essential as training can be provided
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role
