About this role

We are seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and experienced Transport Planner to join our team at Pearson Whiffin - Transport, Logistics & Distribution.

Salary: 32k - 36k competitive salary dependent on experience and attitude.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm (1 in 3 Saturday mornings).

About the job

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong logistics background to take their career to the next level. As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating transportation operations across Europe and the UK.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate transportation routes and schedules
  • Manage transportation budgets and costs
  • Develop and implement transportation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
