Job Title: Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team at Ritz Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Shipping & Operations Manager in operational functions, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer requests, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate shipments, orders, and purchase orders as required
  • Manage shipment bookings, confirmations, and weighbridge information data entry
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, including special requests, inspections, and packing specifications
  • Apply for necessary export permits as regulated by government authority
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role in the shipping industry, particularly in freight forwarding
  • Competent in spoken and written English language
  • Highly motivated and quality of results orientated
  • Able to work within timeframe constraints depending on relevant business cycle
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
