The successful candidate will work with a leading company specialising in the design and assembly of filling and packaging lines for aerosols, primarily serving the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

The role involves managing all aspects of projects, from large production lines to small table-top units, ensuring overall project objectives for quality, delivery, and cost are met. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and resources to meet deadlines;
  2. Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication;
  3. Collaborating with technical teams to resolve project-related issues and implement process improvements;
  4. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, such as GMP and validation principles;
  5. Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients on control systems and automation technologies.

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A systematic approach to work with attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • A strong customer focus and understanding of the importance of meeting customer expectations;
  • Experience working in a technical environment, preferably with extended project life cycles (2 years+);
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry sector and its regulatory requirements;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Automation Control Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our client. The salary for this role is approximately £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
