Plant Fitter

Job Role:
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Engineer to join our team at Interaction Technical. As a Workshop Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.

Requirements:
Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry is essential.
Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities is also essential.
Experience working on engines would be advantageous.
Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience is required.

The Package:
22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (£21-£24 per hour)

Training and Development:
A comprehensive training scheme is offered alongside relative internal progression routes.
Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager)
