Tissue Viability Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team as a Tissue Viability Nurse. The successful candidate will possess wound care and tissue viability knowledge and understanding, and will work as an autonomous practitioner to co-ordinate and deliver enhanced wound care within the field of tissue viability.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as an autonomous practitioner to co-ordinate and deliver enhanced wound care within the field of tissue viability.
- Liaise with other health professionals to provide a comprehensive tissue viability service for Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
- Disseminate specialist skills and knowledge through teaching sessions to patients, carers, nurses and managers.
- Assist and participate in formal study days as needed.

Person Specification
- Current Registered Nurse with the NMC.
- Relevant post registration experience.
- Mentorship or teaching qualification.
- Able to evidence recent and continuing professional development relevant to the department.
