About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join our team at Inchcape Retail - Part of Group 1 Automotive. As a Business Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales revenue and profit, while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory sales processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed unit sales, chassis profit, finance, GardX, and warranty income targets.
  • Develop Sales Strategy: Focus on increasing sales revenue and profit through effective sales strategies.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with Inchcape and regulatory sales processes to treat customers fairly.
  • Adhere to Retail Policies: Adhere to retail policies in compliance with legal and manufacturer guidelines to pass audits.
  • Deliver Customer Satisfaction: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction in accordance with brand standard requirements.
  • Lead Sales Team: Ensure Sales Executives are committed to customer satisfaction and process excellence.
  • Coach and Develop: Ensure Sales Executives are trained and reviewed to the required standards and support the sales team through coaching and development.
  • Maintain Relationships: Maintain relationships with internal colleagues, brand partners, finance, and insurance partners.
Requirements
  • Customer Service: Provide a first-class customer service with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Multitasking: Be an effective multitasker who is methodical and efficient.
  • Adaptability: Have an adaptable approach to ensure finance packages are tailored to customers' needs.
  • Finance and Insurance: Have experience of delivering finance and insurance packages to customers and understand FCA Compliance.
  • Attention to Detail: Have attention to detail.
  • Leadership: Be able to supervise and manage the sales process.
  • Communication: Have excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Driving Licence: Hold a full EU driving licence.
