Attendance Officer Role Overview

The Attendance Officer will play a vital role in leading attendance management at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys. This position involves coordinating effective administration to improve attendance rates, ensuring students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement attendance strategies to enhance student engagement and reduce absenteeism
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to address attendance-related issues
  • Provide support and guidance to students, families, and staff on attendance policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze attendance data to inform decision-making and improve outcomes

Requirements

  • Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Bromcom, CPOMS, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of attendance laws and legislation
