Job Title: Mammography Radiographer Position

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiographer to join our award-winning team as a specialist in mammography. In this role, you will have access to advanced imaging technology and opportunities for continuous learning within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality mammographic imaging to support early breast cancer detection and patient assessment.
  • Work closely with radiologists, clinicians, and other radiography team members to deliver efficient, coordinated patient care.
  • OBSERVE AND IMPLEMENT HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND BEST PRACTICES FOR RADIATION PROTECTION.
  • Contribute to departmental quality assurance activities and audits to promote service excellence.
  • Participate in training and mentoring sessions, both as a learner and as a guide for junior team members.

Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography, with HCPC registration.
  • Mammography Accreditation: Hold a Certificate of Competence in Mammography (or equivalent qualification).
  • Previous experience in mammography and general radiography, with an ability to work both independently and as part of a larger radiology team.
