Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting, management accounts preparation, and day-to-day financial operations of a newly created business within the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and timely financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss, and balance sheet.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Record and post day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support with budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any account discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on financial performance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining supplier records.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and reconcile inventory accounts.
  • Support with internal and external audits, ensuring seamless compliance and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience working in finance, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounts.
  • Some experience working in management accounts, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Studying an accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA, or ACCA) or qualified by experience, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
