Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at People Solutions Group. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, collecting empty cages, and operating and driving various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver caged goods to pubs and restaurants
  • Collect empty cages
  • Operate and drive class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid UK C Licence (CLASS 2)
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience driving a C vehicles
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes
  • Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
