About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sports Development Coach to join our team in Lewisham. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will play a vital role in promoting physical activity and sport among young people.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of students. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sport, technical knowledge of various sports, and a passion for coaching and mentoring young people.

The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and inspire students to develop their skills and achieve their full potential. You will also need to be able to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the program.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £550+ per week (paid weekly via PAYE). In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.

Requirements
  • A First-Class Degree in a related subject from a Top 20 UK University
  • Prior experience working with young people in a coaching role
  • Coaching qualifications (Specialism in any sport: football, hockey, netball, rugby)
  • Ability to approach students who may have had negative experiences with sports in the past
