Job Title: Environmental Coordinator

JAB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environmental Coordinator to join our client's team in Aberdeen. This is a 12-month PAYE contract that offers a unique opportunity to support the Environmental Team in delivering and improving environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Environmental Management System (EMS): Provide support to the Safety and Environmental Manager in delivering and continually improving the Company's ISO14001-certified EMS.
  • Environmental Regulatory Compliance: Support the regulatory permit application and variation process, analyse data to monitor compliance with permit conditions, and prepare and submit required regulatory environmental reports.
  • Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or equivalent, degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, and proficiency in IT, particularly in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and supportive team player.
Interactions:
  • Internal: Collaborate with managers and team members both onshore and offshore.
  • External: Engage with regulatory bodies such as OPRED, OSDR, SEPA, and industry bodies like Offshore Energies UK.
