DWS Group is seeking a talented Global Technology Attorney to join its team in London. As a key member of the legal department, you will play a critical role in advising on technology and infrastructure matters, ensuring the company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice on various aspects of technology and infrastructure, including information security, cybersecurity, data privacy, intellectual property, and digital interface. You will also assist in drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts related to these areas.

In addition, you will partner with other departments to identify and mitigate risks associated with technology and infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be essential in helping the company make informed decisions and avoid potential pitfalls.

Responsibilities

As a Global Technology Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Providing expert legal advice on technology and infrastructure matters;">
  • Assisting in the development of policies, processes, and procedures to govern outsourcing and vendor risk management;">
  • Managing and coordinating with outside counsel on certain contract negotiations and drafting;">
  • Participating in or representing the legal department on various internal committees;">
  • Troubleshooting, including dealing with disputes and other legal and commercial issues.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a dynamic international environment and ability to relate to different business perspectives and approaches to arising issues;">
  • Solid knowledge of global information security, intellectual property software, and general technology law-related matters;">
  • Good organisational and project management skills;">
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities;">
  • An awareness of regulatory change in the global information security, intellectual property software, and general technology law space;">
  • A practical approach to problem-solving;">
  • An understanding of how to manage external counsel, including agreeing fee estimates and scope of assignments;">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;">
  • Good commercial sense;">
  • £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits;">
