Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Haematology Specialist to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be a central member of a multidisciplinary team providing inpatient and outpatient haematology care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with haematological disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Support the training and development of other healthcare professionals.
  • Deputise for absent colleagues and perform additional duties as required.

Person Specification
  • MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
  • At least 2 years experience of working at IMT/CMT level.
  • Previous placement in Clinical Haematology.
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS.
  • Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of starting the post.
