We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Power Systems Specialist to join our team based in Reading, United Kingdom. As a full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in electrical engineering while working onsite at various project locations.

This role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and holidays.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in EPC projects, preferably in the renewable energy or chemicals sector, with strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in project management and the ability to lead a team are essential, as well as expertise in design software and circuit analysis. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to think critically are also required. Familiarity with relevant safety and industry standards is necessary, as well as the ability to work onsite at project locations as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with professional certification in Electrical Engineering preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of electrical engineering projects, including design, installation, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with project management teams to ensure successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints. Utilizing design software and conducting circuit analysis, you will develop efficient and cost-effective solutions, providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members as needed.
