Maintenance Supervisor Role

Orion Electrotech is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Thorne. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of multi-skilled engineers to maintain and repair equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal production levels.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, prioritizing tasks to meet production demands.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall site performance.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and HMI interfaces, with experience in fault finding and troubleshooting.
