Airline Infrastructure Specialist

Job Overview:
Cambridge is home to a thriving civil engineering industry, with projects requiring expertise in infrastructure design and coordination. As an Airport Civil Engineer at ATTB - The Big Jobsite, you will work on various tasks, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled individual to undertake design work and coordinate with clients, contractors, and local authorities. Key responsibilities include undertaking design for infrastructure projects, representing the team at client and contractor meetings, and coordinating with local authorities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in designing infrastructure-related projects consisting of highways, drainage, and earthworks, as well as knowledge of using Civils 3D, CAD, and drainage design software.

1. Undertake design for infrastructure projects, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design.
2. Represent at client, contractor, and local authority meetings.
3. Knowledge of design and approvals for S278 and S38 highway schemes with design capability when supervised by senior staff.
4. Knowledge of design and approvals of S104, S106 and S185 drainage schemes, including awareness of current drainage legislation and sustainable drainage practice.
5. Knowledge and awareness of the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments.
6. Knowledge of working with Civils 3D, AutoCAD, and drainage modelling software such as FLOW or Micro drainage.
