The Pastoral Manager will play a vital role in the school, focusing on the personal development and welfare of all pupils within their year group. This key position will enable every child to leave the academy equipped to lead a happy and successful life.



The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, organised and flexible individual who can enable pupils to maintain excellent learning habits and high levels of independence and resilience. They will possess excellent leadership, management and communication skills and have demonstrated an ability to work with young people and their families successfully.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Develop and sustain strong routines to ensure all pupils engage strongly in extra-curricular activities
  • Ensure all pupils develop a range of leadership roles within their year groups who maintain the highest of standards at all times
  • Work closely with the Head of Year and form tutors to ensure the year group's overall progress and well-being
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people, adhering to the school's policies and procedures
