BAM Site Solutions is seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Mechanic to join our team at our Allbrook Depot in Eastleigh.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position that offers a challenging and continuously changing environment in a forward-thinking organization.

Your Mission


Conduct workplace risk assessments and share knowledge with the team

Resolve technical problems relating to plant and equipment

Perform regular plant inspections and record results

Schedule servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications

Maintain internal plant to Site Solutions standards

Conduct on and off-hire PDI inspections to Site Solutions standards

Provide clear and concise data records

Advise others on the safe operation and correct maintenance of plant

Identify opportunities to implement new technology

Collaborate with operational teams to achieve work programs

Train, mentor, and develop others

Record all work carried out within the company's electronic system

Maintain a safe and tidy work area

Ensure compliance with company and legislative safety and environment requirements

Assist with the implementation of Your Safety is My Safety

Requirements

Desirable but not essential, NVQ Level 2 Construction Plant Operations or Machinery Maintenance or Level 2 Construction Plant Operative Apprenticeship. You will need to hold a Full Driving license.
