Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of operations at Defence. This is a full-time position, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality work and contributing to the company's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safety culture and ensure the cleaning team adheres to company and client Health & Safety procedures.
  • Manage the cleaning labour, equipment, and resources budget effectively.
  • Continuously improve the cleaning operation to meet client service level agreements and company procedures.
  • Engage and manage the cleaning team effectively to ensure their growth and development.
  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures.
  • Manage third-party suppliers or contractors as required, ensuring they meet agreed service level agreements.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to develop business through sound negotiation, change management, strategic decision-making, and creative thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Excellent financial management skills, including preparing and monitoring detailed budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000-£60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
