Logistics Coordinator

Salary: £11.78 per hour

Location: Wimborne, Dorset

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global organisation as a driver, however this role will suit a customer-focused driver, responsible for delivering industrial gases across Yorkshire. Your role will involve efficiently picking, packing, and delivering products while ensuring exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a customer-focused driver with strong social skills, capable of engaging with patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner. This role involves delivering to vulnerable individuals, requiring patience and attention beyond a multi-drop role. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, an Enhanced DBS check will be required, which we provide at no cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver products promptly to designated areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Collect and process used equipment according to company infection control procedures.
• Report service-related issues to the Area Administrator and Team Leader.
• Complete and return company documentation to the Regional Operations Centre as required.
• Ensure SAP compliance meets or exceeds KPI requirements.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and ensure regular maintenance is up to date.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any customer interactions.

Requirements:

• Full, clean driving license.
• Previous experience driving a 3.5t vehicle.
• Experience in a customer-focused driving position.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and adjust route plans as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working with vulnerable individuals.
• Basic IT skills for managing delivery logs and reporting.
