Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Safety Inspections: Regularly inspect the warehouse and equipment to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas, using a forklift or other equipment as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Verify the accuracy of inventory records and ensure that documentation matches stock in terms of quality and quantity.
  • Picking, Storing, and Stacking: Efficiently pick, store, and stack goods in a manner that maximizes storage capacity and minimizes damage.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and free from obstructions, and that all equipment is properly maintained.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience operating a Reach truck, Counterbalance, and Flexi truck is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive can-do attitude is necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Spatial Awareness: Sound spatial awareness is required to navigate the warehouse safely and efficiently.
