Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Engagement:
    • Work closely with the General Manager and production teams to understand operations, including stock control, stock management, and stock intake.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to minimize financial losses and enhance profitability by asking the right questions, challenging current processes, and suggesting improvements.
  • Business Partnering:
    • Build strong relationships across the site, ensuring clear understanding and communication of financial results.
  • Support Site Performance:
    • Provide real-time financial insights and guidance to support the manufacturing team's decision-making.
  • Daily Financial Results:
    • Deliver accurate on-site financial results to help steer the team toward meeting performance targets.

Requirements:

  • CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in food manufacturing or general manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of financial controls, stock management, and financial reporting
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, influencing change, and explaining financial data to non-financial personnel
  • Strong ability to translate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
