We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £170,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to undertake administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the running of clinics or departments. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing junior medical staff, approving and monitoring rotas and locum arrangements, and participating in medical audit arrangements.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a commitment to ongoing professional development and contributing to the teaching and assessment of undergraduates and junior doctors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assume responsibility for the management of junior medical staff
  • To approve and monitor junior staff rotas and locum arrangements
  • To participate fully in medical audit arrangements
  • To contribute to the teaching and assessment of undergraduates and junior doctors
  • To continue with all aspects of professional development
