About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Support Specialist to join our team at Sellafield Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and correct processing of procurement requests for various business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Maintain awareness of the correct routes of procurement for the supply of goods and services and advise accordingly.">
  • Ensure that all new demand requests are reviewed and actioned in a timely manner and tracked through to completion.">
  • Guarantee compliance with SL procurement processes and procedures, challenging non-compliance where necessary.">
  • Input accurate data into procurement systems to facilitate a 'right first time' approach to procurement, minimizing delivery delays.">
  • Approve items over a set threshold, as required.">
  • Assist customers in identifying available components to avoid duplication.">
  • Expedite high-priority spares/components, managing invoice queries to prevent delivery/payment delays.">
  • Complete the return of goods process with warehousing & suppliers as needed.">
  • Undertake Contract Administrator duties for sitewide frameworks, including journal management.">
  • Aid in training and developing new/junior team members, promoting a positive customer experience.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to advise/challenge individuals using technical knowledge, and experience working in a high-pressure environment.

You should also have proficiency in standard company IT systems, ability to manage/prioritize your workload, and a meticulous attention to detail regarding data standards/specifications.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary for this position is £34,100-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
